No worries, it’ll add to his “shelf life” by getting pasteurized…

When Vince Carter jumps a 7 footer it’s impressive. Venom is much larger than Spidey AND they have super powers so I give the dunk a 3.
I give it a 5 for teabagging Spidey
Venom has super powers that picture is like prime Jordan dunking on a college rim it’s just easy
Yeah, I think so. Usually things aren’t sold out by the time I sign off work haha
I put two in my cart, but then other things came up that need monies, so I canceled it. I hope the people who got my two are happy!
Interesting story about those Paralel Evren Star Wars Virgin Comics. When CBSI first dropped them on Instagram I sent a message asking about prices. I got sent a document with the list of comics and prices. They said if I would like to put in an order before they officially drop on the CBSI website to let them know. So, I asked to buy one of the virgins.
I was told to send money to their email address via Paypal FRIENDS AND FAMILY. They specifically said not to mention anything about a sale or a business transaction when sending the money. I sent them back a message that said that I wouldn’t do that because that is against Paypal policy, doesn’t protect me in case something happens, and I couldn’t risk getting my Paypal account frozen. I was told no problem, wait till they officially go on sale and the price changes.
I sent another message after they “officially” went on sale. I was sent the same document with the comics and prices that now reflect the “official” release and could be sent an invoice via PayPal so I didn’t risk losing my account. They increased the price a whopping whole…$1… yeah…
I have no idea why they couldn’t just send me an invoice for $1 more when I mentioned my hesitation with paying via friends and family. I also don’t know why they couldn’t have just put them on their Comic Book Exclusives website since the owner of CBSI also owns that. I had to go through Instagram messages with some shady dealings. Call me old but I don’t see how people purchase comics on Instagram regularly.
That is very odd.
I stood at a comic shop counter the other day and used PayPal to send the owner what I owed him, but that was because their internet was down and by extension credit card payments. That was an extenuating circumstance.
Sending an email for an invoice to send money based on a request I made (potentially at the same time as somebody else), all seems a bit too fiddle for my tastes. There are simpler ways to do these things.
The friends and family doesn’t count towards their annual income reported by Paypal, so they’re hoping people pay by such means to save on their tax bill come tax time.
Now that this is public, they can now be held liable because the IRS tax man will be a coming… Thanks for sharing.
Always pay for your goods and services the legal method via Paypal. Like you mentioned, friends and family method gives you zero protection.
Speaking of CBE did they offer proof of destruction yet? I wasn’t paying attention to the variants for a while.
@RipCityGamer the main complains have been they showed maybe 13 covers that were partially ripped up the “reader copies” everyone received had the covers completely torn off which leads to speculation they maybe only destroyed a couple and not all of them. And then cgc graded a cover less one a 9.8 and the guy was selling it as a “timeline variant” fully knowing he sent in a cover less copy. eBay yanked that auction off.
So there is the weekend wrap up of what has been going down.
Ketchup Chips are very real, and very delicious. But, not recommended while reading comics.
FOMO Is REALZ!
What was I thinking buying just 1 for myself
Sell it… after a few weeks or months, you’ll likely be able to buy at the normal retail price again… Image ratio/exclusives rarely hold their value.
Wow, that’s crazy. I had no plans of selling, but I think I might have to if that’s the price it is going for.
