Is there something special with this issue? I’m reading DoT, but I can’t imagine why 11 has more covers than a Marvel #1.

This is why I didn’t get any DoT issues past 1. Way too many store exclusives

Haven’t picked up any DoT after issue #3 I believe.
Some of the store exclusives have been cool but nah.
Over saturated.

Haha, to pay off the mob for a gambling debt he makes a new Batman character and tells only them beforehand, so that they can spec it.

maybe they are printing just 1 copy of each of those exclusives. 
I know that’s a lot of variants, but it seems the minimum order is 500 or 1000 total. And my god look at some of these… some people collect and buy comics for the art, and this is art…

Some of those are really nice pieces. My favorite is the Orzu, and it’s the only exclusive I’ve purchased for DoT.

I’m a sucker for album homages so the Nirvana and Biggie homages were auto buys. I’m a Carla Cohen mark as well, so Marilyn is on her way also. First DOT exclusives I’ve grabbed since the Eminem homage. Since I collect for art, the fact these are all the same issue doesn’t bother me, but I see how it could bother others.

I like JTC’s negative space variants but this one isn’t doing it for me. Maybe its her face that is just very meh.

Well, it has been a good read in the past. Issue 11 was atrocious to read. Literal walls of text handwritten on extra busy paper. Tynion out-Hickman’ed Hickman =/
He has “affiliate stores” like KRS and Mutant Beaver, but when I looked 25 minutes after launch, Mayhew’s HR7 shadow only had 34 in stock in his store. 1,000 print run?
what’s the over/under on how many colors we get?
My money is on white for the next one.
