We all hate store variants but

I should smite myself for looking for it in the first place.

Comic Mint’s Army of Darkness 1979 exclusive cover is a massive Google image photoshop collage job.

And sadly, they manipulated enough of the art and photos to bypass copyright laws

Man that’s some lazy work

I’m disappointed - Javan Jordan usually does really interesting design work.

I thought the head looked familiar to a film frame and somebody found it.

I’m not really a big fan of John Gallagher or Jordan cause they just come off as “photoshop-ey” to me and looked like they just took some images and edited them around a bit but damn

Yikes. That’s pretty awful.

Yeah, I’m not feeling it either. Like if you’re gonna homage that Hulk cover, you gotta at least make the title look more like bricks that are heavier and such

Agreed. Letters don’t look like they have the weight to force that pose.

Sooo
 Maybe She-Hulk isn’t for everyone
I love Rahzzah, but this ain’t it.

None of the She-Hulk 1 covers are good, considering a TV show coming out. I’m just getting one copy each of the AH and the Artgerm cover. Hope the stories are good.

I filed the early advertising for this variant under “mildly inappropriate” because they cropped an extreme close up of her pubic mound as a teaser. I guess my reading of that was too prudish to be deemed “mildly inappropriate.”

For a series that has had stellar art and incredible covers the whole way, leave it to a store exclusive to blow me all the way away. This Alan Quah exclusive for Nocterra Special: Blacktop Bill is absolutely ridiculous. If you’re reading the series and know the significance of the lights behind him, it makes the lighting and art here even more impressive, IMO.

Hadn’t touched a Nocterra exclusive, but that streak is now over.

Also, if you happen to want to spec on this book anyway, they are bundling this exclusive with the 3 FOC covers and the 1:10 and 1:25 for $85, which seems good considering the exclusives are $40.

To celebrate an all-new SHE-HULK #1 from Marvel Comics, I flipped the script on one of my favorite Marvel covers from WOLVERINE #8, replacing Wolverine with X-23, and Hulk with the Green Goddess herself.

Presale for the SHE-HULK #1 Mike Mayhew Studio Variant Cover Collection begins WEDNESDAY, December 8th at 9AM PST/ 12PM EST at www.mikemayhewstudio.com

RAW PRICING: $25 TRADE / $55 A/B SET

I don’t hate it. I feel like X-23 looks a lot like Selena Gomez there, however.
