Yeah thats why I’m not really crazy about Javans covers, a lot of them just seem like blatant photoshops. and his line work and sketches he’s done look pretty good but his usual ones are a big turnoff for me

He should have given credit to the model like an ethical artist would have done. I don’t see anything on his recent social media.

Well Mattina still gets work pretty much only DC these days but not a lot of people chase his variants not many go for a premium outside of Thrawn, Metal#3 fishhook, and Gamora #2 1:25. So his boo boos hurt his reputation with the collectors if not his employers.
