This guy spent $800 on a memorabilia break. All guaranteed autographs and such. Got an Andre Reed football, Aaron Rodgers helmet with the padding inside, JJ Watt mini helmet, Isaac Bruce cleet, and a jersey (forgot the player). It was wild to say the least.
The comic shows I have seen have been through torpedo mainly. I don’t much care for them, so I jump in and out lol
When they open a sealed box. They got all different ways to get people to buy into them (split a box, break it down by the sports team, buy single packs, etc).
When I was into sports cards for instance, a box cost a little over $100 and had 24 packs in it. Now these are $500+ with maybe 7 packs. Some have a single pack of cards. They are more into the signatures and jerseys these days. Used to be about making the entire set and chasing the inserts “autos were like 1:500 packs or whatever”. Sports card market is stupid right now. Same as pokemon and Magic. Just ■■■■■■■■ expensive.
Only thing I seen so far was he told people to not bid so crazy on some things he had. But then let them bid up other stuff. He had the venom 1 1:50 “ON SALE TONIGHT ONLY FOR THE WHATNOT FAM!!! I been selling this all week for $40, but tonight only it’s $25”. Ebay has it for $20 shipped
I am going live at 1 PM today with Walmart packs and variants. Have been trying to schedule a show but every time I do it tries to start it for right then. Gonna mess with it when I get back from dropping my sons off to school but 1 PM I have variants, Walmart Packs and more. Check out apopcomics 1 PM Eastern Friday (today).
The scheduler is all wonky since the update. I’ve found I can set the date and then if I just drag the time-setting numbers it works, if you type the time it won’t work. It is super messy.
