Buying comics at 34k feet. Flying over Minnesota.
You squint hard enough, you can see me in that picture.
I waived.
Not a few minutes later a fed ex plane flew buy in the other direction. Same altitude, couldn’t have been more tha. 1/4 mile away…
I’ve never seen another plane that close at the same altitude flying.
Anyone got any comics going from west to east coast fed ex?
That’s on my bucket list to visit… enjoy!
In Denver, finally stopped to check out Mile High… I walked around and walked out with absolutely nothing! Still fun to finally see this shop in person.
Is it as cool inside as people say but also priced as horribly as people say?
I felt dirty after leaving… Like, hand sanitizer and wanting to shower…
But they had fun stuff to look at, but definitely overpriced on most items. Felt like a flea market with the old school china display cabinets they used to display things around the warehouse.
I didn’t dig around in their back issues though, just too much time consumption and I’m getting rid of books currently, not buying at the moment.
That means you’re Mack daddy! Or Daddy Mack!
Good luck on this one.
Make sure you grease your shoulders and sharpen your elbows.
Fellow Rhode Islander here Didn’t know that was going on so thanks for the heads up. Working today so you’ll have no competition but will definitely check it out tomorrow.
I’ll be at the Spector Club Comic Show in Shrewsbury tomorrow!
Easy money!
They said they were going to keep adding books each day.
Lots of people carrying shirt boxes out…so hopefully will replenish with some good stuff.
If you’re interested in Nightwing variants, there was no shortage. Obviously I took the good ones, but the lesser value ones were aplenty. I had a budget to stick to.
They were mostly along the second to last row in the back.
Behind you if you’re facing the back wall. I left a bunch in a box on the floor in the very back far corner as well…I’m sure they’ll put them in nearby boxes.
Everyone was polite. Just a long day on my feet.
