Before COVID, also scored a 55 issue lot of captain marvel comics on eBay for $60. Included the 2nd print cover of K. Kahn. Sold that one issue alone for 1k.

I have had a bunch, many I have recounted on here (Buying out the Ultimate Spider-Man Niagra Falls Variants out from the Marvel place there and selling them for $80 each, only paying $2.99
But my most recent great grab has been finding that suggest cover of the Rifleman for $6 in an antique store, worth about $500 in the condition it is in
Oh, and Thawn #1 1:50 for $50. Slabbed it and sold it for $2k+ on Ebay.
I forgot I got a box of comics for $50 that had the first 4 issues of Clone Wars in it. Sold #1-3 and made close to $1300.
Ducked away from my family one Easter and bought a lot of 300+ comics for $200 from the original owner. Included full McFarlane ASM run, early TMNT, Sandman Keys (when the market was crazy) and a lot of underground HTF stuff that sold well. Made close to $3,000 on that $200 find.
Smaller but was amazed. Bought a box of mostly drek for $50. Had some stuff where I would triple my money so I bit. Was going through to to inventory and rebag…found a Hulk 180 in decent condition and complete.
Probably wrote about this when the CHU first started, but I did buy a Coverless Hulk #1 for $5 from a kid who found it in his parents or grandparent’s attic way back in the late 80’s. It was worth about $40 back then. A little bit more than that now.
