If it was BOOM!, they’d announce that the 8th printing is the last and final printing ever… and then a week after FOC announce they’re doing a 9th printing… so it could be worse!
Don’t forget how the supposedly final printing gets allocated as well!

I think it has a few things going for it. It probably will have a lower print run than 1st print, signings (like you pointed out), and the cover completists will need it. I’m preordering a few.
FYI the fortnite second prints do not have the code in them and are not bagged.
