I’d rather see over board on 2nds than shops “destroying” copies to create perceived scarcity of their exclusives.

Unless the second printings have a new character on the cover making it their first cover appearance, I’m not buying them anymore just because it’s a second (or third) printing variant. There has been no spec value in about a year and a half on almost all second printings from Marvel or DC. They just take up space in long boxes.

I buy 2nd printings if I like the cover and its at least a minor key issue. Otherwise ya it will just clog up my boxes.
