I think the point here is that is always been ‘up to them’. Nobody takes these recommendations as gospel. Everyone employs, or at least should, their own thought processes on how they invest/spend their cash. No one thinks you’re an ass, they just have different opinions.

Just for the record, I would never call anyone a name on a personal level directly here. That would break our rules and guidelines and I dont’ think the system allows me to ban or silence myself for breaking the rules.

I asked my shop to order me a copy. They said they had only ordered one and it would be mine,
I was just asking if they could order one for me In addition to what they normally would.
The other lcs I frequent doesn’t rarely orders reprints. I did see a few Thor 5 3rd prints last time…I’m guessing they were not going i the shelf but in people’s boxes or he ordered them to hold.

Not sure about other LCS but mine goes much lighter on reprints usually.
What’s funny is, even if they were in the groups, would they tell you they were? I don’t think most shops spill the beans of how they run their business.
I don’t know about the rest of you all but if I was a retailer, all other retailers are my competition and I’d be trying to steal all their customers from them for myself. I wouldn’t be in no groups, sharing info… ALL MINE!!! ALL MINE!!! 
Whats funny is that seems to be the mentailty of a lot of BnM ships when it comes to online competition. Yet week after week they drive customers to shop online.

That is sad to hear, My LCS is top notch so would definitely stay with them whenever possible. They have a browsing section for NCBD, let me pick out of the box, have never ever sold any of my pull list or reserved items away, and never mark up prices or even look at eBay. I even gave the staff there a nice tip during the virus lockdowns because they were so helpful.
Meanwhile, every other LCS around them has closed because of the very practices complained about by collectors (they are the oldest and most popular LCS in town). Great customer service and lack of greed go a long way to maintaining a successful LCS.
