We really should share the hate comments we get on the main site every so often… yes, people don’t like us… particularly @Anthony and myself it seems. Honestly, if you have the time to hate what someone else is doing, then you really should rethink your own life priorities…

People always spend too much time worrying about what others do. Seems people spend a lot of time worrying about what Poyo and I do.
I have had threats of people showing up at my house. Had people mention my wife by name (I have my personal facebook account set to lock and friends only and removed people who were in these groups from friends) and people make some of the most baseless accusations about my personal life, and this is from an individual arrested for being a dirt bag. So I do not worry about what other groups do or say, but if it becomes personal or threatening, I turn it over to the police, as I have done in the past.
I dare anyone to show up at my house… I’m pretty sure I’m the only liberal that owns more guns than some hardcore NRA members own themselves…

I’m dumbfounded that you receive threats like that in a Comic Book community. Until there are ramifications for what people say or post on the internet, unfortunately it will probably only get worse. So sad
There is an epic explosion caught on video from a spec group leader that was part of a live youtube show. Will need to dig out that video. It was scrapped by the people who put on the show but people recorded it

Yup, some people take things way to seriously… it’s comic books folks… no reason to get your panties all knotted up cause one group is doing things different your own. You do you, we do we… it’s that simple!

I think for a lot of people in the spec community, it’s about money and their ability to take it out of other people’s pockets and put it in theirs, using deceptive ‘business’ practices. And when they get called out on that, it makes them vewy vewy angwy.
I hope that crap doesn’t infiltrate CHU with the recent explosion in views. Hopefully the lounge becomes tougher to break into so that the regulars can enjoy the same experience which has kept us all here. And yes, I’m a regular now
