Yes!!!
Me either. Rather have the reg cvr
I don’t see the difference between this book and any other blank cover on a spider-man book. It’s not like you can ask an artist to draw ultimate spider-man…and it looks any different than regular Spider-man.
I planned on sketching on some of them…
Well also consider, if a major retailer like TFAW missed out cause it was added a wee bit later than the regular 4th print cover, other shops might of missed out too.
Probably right. However, there needs to be some demand if it will do anything. I can’t remember a blank cvr ever doing much. This is kind of a unique situation though
I’ve had a couple make it to double cover before selling but that’s been a few years or more after release. In general though I don’t buy them except by request.
Why?
Good looking cover
Ultimate Universe #1 going back for a 2nd printing months later, with a 1:25 variant
It didn’t sell the first time until spec cleaned it out well after release. That’ll be a hard pass by me unless someone actually orders the ratio at a price high enough to pay for the books it takes to order the ratio.
ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #2 PEACH MOMOKO 3RD PRINTING VARIANT
AVENGERS: TWILIGHT #1 ALEX ROSS 3RD PRINTING VARIANT
I HEART SKULL-CRUSHER #1 2ND PRINT
CRYING BOY #1 2ND PRINT
If it has Maystorm on the cover it’ll be a hit.
Too bad USM 2 2nd print has a ratio
SYMBIOTE SPIDER-MAN 2099 #1 LEINIL YU 2ND PRINTING VARIANT
SYMBIOTE SPIDER-MAN 2099 #1 KEN LASHLEY VIRGIN 2ND PRINTING 1:25 VARIANT
GHOST RIDER: FINAL VENGEANCE #1 DANNY KIM 2ND PRINTING VARIANT
GHOST RIDER: FINAL VENGEANCE #1 GREG CAPULLO 2ND PRINTING 1:25 VARIANT
AVENGERS: TWILIGHT #4 ALEX ROSS 2ND PRINTING VARIANT
ULTIMATE X-MEN #1 PEACH MOMOKO VIRGIN 3RD PRINTING 1:25 VARIANT
It’s one thing to put out a 2nd print…even 3rd…but it seems like every single one from Marvel now comes with a 1:25 incentive.
I am glad I skipped out on the ghost rider first print. I intentionally did that because the Hood wasn’t on the cover…knowing there would likely be a second print because they (tried to?) kept it a secret.
Only ones that are doing well on the 2ndary market. A desperate attempt by the head of marketing to cash in on the spec
