The first issue is great, the second issue is hitting mailboxes now.
For Absolute Batman #1 7th printing Spears Foil, there doesn’t seem to many available for cheap and there’s been sales over cvr price. Major stores are sold out. I think it will eventually be a sought after cvr

I feel like foils have lost their luster in recent years (pun intended).
I personally would go for the non-foil.

That’s definitely the case with marvel foils. I wouldn’t say that applies as much for DC’s resale value, unless it’s a foil of the main cvr 1st print

Only thing that stands out is perhaps supply?
There’s a bunch of sales for cover price. I’m thinking the people who bought it thought it was a first print, thinking they got a deal.

The no picture thing helps with the confusion but they are marked 7th print
Maybe the buyer made a mistake. But the seller made out on them.
The sellers can list it for whatever they want. It’s up to the buyer to buy the correct item. There’s plenty of sales for cover price.
The key is buyer’s are willing to pay more. Is it relavent that other sellers listed their’s cheap? Is there still copies available that are cheap?
Seems like a good bet for anyone in Canada. Maybe it is fool’s gold, but it’s worth taking notice
I guess if people can’t afford the 1st print, they want the cover that’s the next best thing.
Bodes well for the 10th probe and foil variants.
