2nd 3rd and 4th printings!

IDK… 3k just doesn’t seem like it should be classified as rare. Rare to me is like a rock from the moon, something actually hard to get… Something with 3k is not hard to find normally and if there’s zero demand for them, just throw the RARE definition right out the window if you ask me…

And just imagine if speculators and collectors were only given 1 cover as an option and only bought their 1 or 2 copies, not 1600 like some are buying…

I don’t think there’s any need to call people stupid.

And now I’ll put my moderator hat on… yeah, not very wise to call an admin of the site “stupid”… that’s a really quick way to lose your access.

Particularly when I’m just expressing my opinion on the use and definition of a term some seem to use all too often to sell their crap on eBay or elsewhere.

I’m confused :frowning:

Anyways, back on topic. Talk about additional printings or I start whipping people with the moderator stick!

You know you’re gonna get distracted and post 7 days from now how you forgot to add a few to your pre-orders…

I can get knocked around for free here? I’ve been paying Mistress Pain $200 an hour for the same treatment!

Wait a minute, you’ll pay me to hit you? And now since you didn’t bring up 2nd, 3rd or 4th printings… time for me to smite you… (please paypal me first though to make it so much more sweeter).

If you want me to talk about later printings let’s discuss how, “Department of Truth,” really needs to change-up the style for their later printings. It is the same cover with some color differences. You remarked on that in your latest post, I saw. It’s a great series and I’d like some cool covers besides some interesting store variants that I refuse to invest in after being burned on store variants lately.

I wonder if it’s because Shalvey does the A cover and the rotating interior artist does the B (at least, from memory I think this is how it works) and so later printings either need to go back to an artist who has moved on from the single issue they did or find a third. I guess they could get an Artgerm or Momoko type to just do variants/later printings though.

‘Rare’ is a subjective, relative term.

There are 6 billion people on the planet Earth. 3000 could be considered rare, relative to the planets population. 3000 is not rare for a comic book.
A moon rock is rare in the sense that one is not easily obtained. However, there are millions of tons of actual moon rock in existence. That would not make them rare, as far as sheer quantity in existence.

Rare is a subjective and relative term.
Sorry for adding my two sense, Poyo. I digress. :v:

Schmalke cover reprints would be on point.

I saw lots of moon rocks in Amsterdam.
