Agatha Disney+ show

And one of them dies.

same can be said about all those 10s

When they first announced the show I was very excited for it, but it just wasn’t very good. Marvel/Disney/Star Wars desperately needs new leadership.

I’m thoroughly enjoying it. Feels cozy with a creepy edge, and the cast are clearly enjoying themselves. Not so much filler as taking it’s time to savour the spooky setting and wholesomely corny and camp vibe.

If you’re not enjoying it, don’t force yourself to watch it. From what I can tell it’s picking up massively via word-of-mouth, and more people are exploring the burgeoning mystic side of the MCU.

Clear links to WandaVision and MoM have a Phase 1-3 vibe, nice to have something wholly interconnected for once.

Looking forward to the big reveal(s). Not the height of TV but a solid, enjoyable show that I find myself looking forward to each week.

I looked and didn’t see the spoilers listed here yet, but there was a funko pop leak.

John Locke is Wiccan and Aubrey Plaza is Death

Kinda old to be Wiccan no?

This show is awful. It literally feels like you’re watching an after school special.
I believe for the most part, Disney has lost touch with their fan base. So they think cutting their budget is the answer? Nope, make better shows/movies is the answer. I will literally try to watch anything Marvel releases, but this is hard to sit through.

LMAO, yup. That’s the one. And the monster on the island is mephisto

True, but this was a confirmation related to the funko leak. It even shows what their costumes will be.

I’m somewhat enjoying it. It’s setting up Young Avengers. It’s introduced Wiccan and Death. It’s got a Nicholas Scratch mystery, as well as “how did Billy just re-appear and where is Tommy”?

It also has a lot of Easter eggs and subtle nods to pop culture. If anything I get a kick out of those nuggets.

It certainly isn’t for everyone. I watch it with very low expectations.

I’ve seen worse, but that isn’t saying much these days. It’s very “meh”.

I think its pretty good. Its not the CW but it’ll do

That’s a pretty low bar.

Well, finally binge watched the final 4 episodes. I felt like it ended strong with the telling of how Billy was “resurrected” and the relationship between Agatha, Nickolas Scratch and Death. I felt like the writers and actors did a pretty good job taking what I was finding to be annoying nagging characters for this show and provided a background story of their flaws and trauma that makes you understand better where they came from and why they are that way.

Not that there wasn’t cheesy or pointless stuff too (like the whole “duck” moment. But the final episodes pulled me in and ended on a much higher note than the first half and will roll nicely into Vision Quest (maybe even Iron Heart given Mephisto’s potential association with Agatha/Scratch). Or perhaps a “What If?” episode?

Not a “great” series, but better than some others Disney+ has put out with much bigger budgets.
