Exactly, if not for CM #23 introducing a blonde woman who is named and referred to as Thorā€™s daughter (Brigid), the random character in that one panel in Avengers #38 would be a huge question mark. :man_shrugging:

Captain Marvel 23 takes place in a different time than that panel from Avengers 38. The characters in Avengers 38 are not in the same timeline/universe that Captain Marvel 23 takes place in.

That doesnā€™t mean itā€™s not the same character, Captain marvel jumped to that timeline and yet they know who Captain marvel and Carol Danvers is and that there was one in their timeline/universe before her. Brigid is in both universes/timelines, so your point doesnā€™t really hold up.

Great find. Based on that data page, the character shown is more likely to be the leader of the Goddesses of Thunder, Frigg.

For the record Iā€™m not saying it has more significance than CM #23 or anything. When I first brought this up I was just pointing out that Brigid appears in both books that came out on the same day, knowing some people in other groups or whatever might try to push this book.

Yet, the picture above, with other team members shown, makes it clear that it is Frigg and Ellisiv (granddaughters of Thor) in Avengers #38, not Brigid (Thorsdottir).

So if itā€™s not Brigid in Avengers 38, and the characters who do appear have already appeared in another Thor run, what makes Avengers 38 special? Iā€™d love it if someone made the case for why we should spec on it.
