They need to check instagram apparently…few shops selling the hell out of em on there lol.
Bad Idea policing the sales of their comics sounds like several people’s full time job… It’s gonna end up being an impossible job for the most part. I get the idea behind it, I support it but policing it sounds exhausting and impossible… imposing a lifetime ban is dumb though… eventually they might find themselves without any customers until they build a little tolerance.
If they’re banning people/shops they better get a website up and running.
Yet no punishment for people selling bootlegs…

Just curious, but how would they punish someone selling bootlegs short of legal action? Punishing the shop has no direct costs (they will obviously bear indirect costs in terms of future cash flow from cutting off the store though)

I went to my second LCS of the week today. The first is the one whose owner retired. I gave them a try for the first time yesterday and, I dunno, I just didn’t care for the vibe. Probably won’t return.
Anyway, went to the second one while grabbing some lunch. I went in figuring that if they had a copy of ENIAC, first or not first, I would grab it and flip it. I didn’t see it on the wall and asked the owner. He said “I don’t have time for their manifesto of rules and ridiculous crap. I have a hard enough time dealing with the three distributors we’ve got going on as is.”
I said " good for you, man! I would have bought a copy and flipped it, but I’m happy you’re sticking to your guns and not putting up with ridiculous rules."
We got to talking about the permanent ban from today and he thought it was ridiculous. “I wouldn’t sell it for more than cover anyway, but you can’t MAKE me!”
Man, I’m glad I’ve got one good LCS owner left.

Well, as you said, first legal action. If their copyrights are registered that’s a treble damages case right out the gate.
Beyond that, it looks like they could use the lifetime ban technique, right?
Once I get my copy (from 3rd eye comics) I am going to sell it. Was going to keep it but after seeing what this company is doing, this company might be the next Black Mask Comics. Last 1 year then BAM!!! out the gate it went.
But how do you ban a random eBay seller?

I have my third copy coming from them tomorrow! Their customer service has been top notch btw. If I can get a discount negotiated I may switch to them from DCBS.
Yes it is. They email me and keep me up to date on my order. Which has been a plus.
Mezco, for example, are notorious for shutting down ebay listings for selling below their minimum retail price through a number of enforcement measures on ebay. Sometimes they claim copyright infringement for using their stock solicitation photos. It’s a drop down selection in the listing report page.

Jack from CBSI is a nice guy. I can’t speak for his spec pics other than to say he is part of CBSI and I don’t have any problems with anyone at that site. I am just not a fan of them pushing variants onto their readers.
As for Eniac #1, I have two first prints in transit and a 3rd from Tfaw that they might ship to me in 2022 sometime

The good news is it should go out next week. The comics from THIS week are arriving from Diamond on Sunday, but the comics for NEXT week are arriving on time again next Monday. So we’ll FINALLY be able after this month to start having things process the week they come out again. Barring any weird March storms…

My next shipment order us for the 9th… So does that mean the 24th orders and the 10th items will b included or just the 24th?
