Very happy to have this.
This is also one of the “Senate Hearing” books which makes it even more interesting.
Those comic books were ruining the youth I say!
Pretty cool Captain Marvel #9 at the end of the video
I meant to upload and post this last month but have fallen so far behind on things.
Just received these today from FEDEX.
I just will never understand how this company, generally, puts out quality and accuracy (imo); but 90% of hobbyists still wet their pants over the pile of elephant dung from Sarasota. Makes zero sense to me, but whatever.
Although the Impractical Jokers is only 6.5, the value is in the sigs. So I’m happy
Honeymooners was a wild show. I liked the remake movie with Cedric the Entertainer and Mike Epps too.
CBCS miles ahead in terms of quality and accuracy. Nice books Bill!
That Impractical jokers book could be money when they are locked up. Still love the old show.
Thanks again to @BatmanFan for the hookup. He gifted this book to my son ealier this year.
At SDCC, we got the Toddfather’s signature (since we were one of the lucky ones to get a ticket). He signed it, and off it went to get cleaned, pressed, and signature witnessed.
Only thing that I did not know is CBCS will add an additional charge to the $25 signature verification fee. For Todd, I paid an additionale $64.
We just got it today, and my son is beyond happy. Thanks again @BatmanFan. I owe you one…
Man that looks great! So glad your son has that book under his belt, and signed none the less!
Thank you so much for the Cody Rhodes Batman 423 homage artwork!
I’d love to post a picture of it but my account has been restricted and the mods ignore my messages.
I’m confused. Was the signing witnessed by CBCS (Authentic), or did you just send it in for verification. Those are two different things.
If it was not witnessed, why were you charged $64?
That’s an awesome gift. A newsstand too. Sweet!
If it makes you feel better, CGC was charging $160 for their upcoming Todd signing. And it sold out. At least you had the pleasure of meeting him.
I sent it in for verification since Todd wasn’t allowing anyone to take pictures or any kind of witnesses for the signing.
When I asked, the verification fee was $25. And now that I got the receipt, it has an additional $64 next to Todd’s name and says VSP. So that’s why I think its that.
By far the highlight of SDCC. I always love when artist acknowledge my kids. Cuz I have meet some that don’t give a shit. Specially when they are 1 or 2 yrs old. I have had artist tell me to keep an eye on my kids while looking at their books and art even though my kids are no where near their art work or area. Like “calm down man” lol.
I don’t think it’s that. VSP is a flat $25 per signature. Maybe it’s grading, encapsulation and return shipping?
Here’s and example breakdown.
If not that, I’d recommend contacting CBCs and having them explain it to you.
I am.
