CBCS Pickups

Think I could submit to CGC for a higher grade? It’s got less spine tics than a 9.2 I have.

That’s a dope cover.

Considering cbcs grades harsher than cgc, I’d say it would be a safe bet it would come back a higher grade. Good thing with cbcs is you get the notes. So then you really know where to look for the defects

Just curious did you have a grade in mind before you sent it off to them?

I was hoping for a 9.6 but I expected it to be a 9.2-9.4.

always been a cbcs user since their inception, have never used cgc. but i finally decided to try pgx now that their labels dont look like a child created them using old clip art. most of the submission is stuff for the pc, not sending them any marquee books at this point. turnaround times for the big 2 are just so crazy right now and my most recent interactions (or lack thereof, rather) with cbcs have been very poor. maybe pgx will start getting some love as the big 2 continue to sh*t the bed with customer service.

Oh you suck.

That’s like the book that’s I’d give 3/4 of my collection to own. Way to rub it in. And in a CBCS case no less.

Jealous.

Wait a second! That’s not PGX! Do they know about this?

Only slab I wont buy is an ESG. I saw a 9.8 1st Deadpool and a 9.8 1st Brother Voodoo both looked like 7.5s lol

I kind of want to buy a ESG graded comic just to say I have one… I just can’t bring myself to pull the trigger yet.

WhT is ESG?

I think they mean EGS, some off brand grading company.

Yes even worse than Halo

Halo is out of Australia, I give them credit for filling a regional need. I was gonna talk with the guy Tony who runs EGS

I would be curious to hear what he has to say.
