Both have actually gone up in price. My youngest collects them and he got one from SB-01 thats going for good money.
SB-01 I believe is the original DB and SB-02 is DBZ.
Sent this in at NYCC (to qualify for the Momoko Award exclusive comic)
And of course it has the signature banana bend and spine tick center spine. Fortunately it’s a white cover and barely viable…should not present an issue selling it.
CGC was supposed to ship the Signed Momoko exclusive with this…at least that’s what I was told would happens…but that’s still with the presser looking at the status…
Probably for the best as I’m not sure what is going to happen when this series finishes.

It is simply incomprehensible to me how this bending of the comic by CGC on Moderns is STILL going on so so many years later. It’s actually become the norm to the point where it’s just like “yep, it’s bent. Nothing to see here”.

I hate hearing how an otherwise pristine, good-looking book was bent. There really is no other way for CGC to prevent switch-out shenanigans other than to damage the books they encase now?

At this point if people still want to submit their books to CGC, honestly I hope your book gets damaged!
Most will repeat the behavior and submit more books, thus teaching CGC a valuable lesson. The lesson being we can do whatever we want and still make a profit.

I forgot that CGC is messing up peoples books. I just ordered a CGC from Jeff Monk’s website, hopefully it comes to me not screwed up.

Wish cgc would allow submissions to get books signed with coa and then ship them back to you.
COA would be so easy to forge though… They always remind me of this scene in Tommy Boy…

PGX East was going to do just that companies like dynamic forces and Midtown ones that are recognizable and well-known they were going to accept
One of the websites I use for signed books is Collectors Choice Comics. You send your books in and they get them signed for you, if you trust people with your own books. I’ve used them a few times mainly for Jenny Frison signings and they ship books back in gemini mailers. They have lots of artists for signatures coming up. If people have other websites like this to share, do so.
