Dude I just watched a vid of a guy who sent in $100,000 worth of books to get graded to CGC… they are gone. And how do you even get insured for these things cuz they weren’t graded yet and a 9.6 to a 9.8 can be double the price, not that he had a bunch of moderns in his shipment but you get my meaning. Crazy.

9.4 is the best grade for normal humans who want a nice first app. You’ll bank off this. I have multiple She Hulk 1’s graded 9.4 they have tripled in price lately and I’m just waiting for that first trailer

Consider me normal then lol. It was on consignment at my LCS and no one was picking it up so I asked if they could give me a couple months to pay it off. Done deal. I don’t think this was pressed either. And it’s already increased 25%.
You take pictures and buy insurance on your shipment to The graders.
You also need to estimate the value when you submit the paperwork.
That’s the best you can do, I believe. At least it’s what I do.

My favorite youtube I saw this past month is the guy who had his AF 15 get a Action 1 Superman label and his Action 1 get a Spider-man label. Crazy.

I believe there is a follow up video that says it got resolved.
That is why I usually submit at shows. This way I talk to the person accepting my books and have signed proof that the books were taken from me by them. It has certainly been tough doing that this past year, though.

See if you can count how many times that guy “sweeps” his hair with his hand. He needs to cut his hair, or he needs to learn to keep his hands off of his head. God damn. There’s another video of this guy where CGC bans him because of his incessant complaining about this or that. He’s like fingernails on a chalkboard…the dude makes me cringe with his whining.

The ‘like hair sweep’ guy was so worried about what would happen if his submission was lost, re: the value. That leads me to believe he understated his declaration values on his submission forms. Not something I would be happy to find out if that guy was subbing books for me, as a customer. Tsk tsk.

Bought a collection from a guy in my neighborhood. The sandman, turtles, black panther and spawn are all from that collection. Still have about 1000 books and magazines to sort through. Really scored though! Anyways, they are all off to cgc please don’t lose them!
