Which is a shame as Adam Warren makes great comics.
How big of a graded comic collection does everyone else have? I’m halfway through my 4th box, so 3 1/2 bins total for me.
About the same, give or take.
close to 200 slabs. 1/5 of them I have no idea why I bought…they are worthless.
I have about 4 boxes full plus about 20 on display.
About 25 slabs, only modern keys… waiting for them to heat up.
I’ve got so much crap all over the place; that I really wish I could give a good answer to this question.
It is my goal this year to get to the answer to this question!
About 100 slabs currently. Hoping to sell off about 25 at an upcoming small show.
Organization is important, especially when a book heats up and you have to be able to find it before it cools. My old collection is alphabetized and I have a hand written list of that in a paper notebook. My newer stuff from the last few years is all alphabetized except for 5-6 short bins of recent purchases. I haven’t gotten around to making a list in a notebook yet for those. My Modern Newsstands are all alphabetized except for 1 short bin of recent purchases. Finally my graded stuff is alphabetized except for 1/2 a bin. That I also have a list of written in my notebook. Any stuff not alphabetized yet is actually alphabetized within those bins though.
So how much do you charge per hour??
Lol. I’d take comics for payment. I’ve got a lot to do still. The old collection and new have to be merged at some point. Not looking forward to that whatsoever.
According to CLZ - 562 — not counting what hasn’t been entered yet, another 50 at CGC, and the probably 50 for sale on my eBay page.
I might have a problem.
Soon I will have 10 slabs total. I mostly put my comics in toploaders and put them on my shelves instead.
I have 3 boxes of slabs, but a bunch of books at CGC. It will be nice when they return them to me….
Slabs take up a lot of space so I try not to get things slabbed unless the book is hot and gonna stay hot.
About 14 boxes of slabs, mostly modern with another 45 at CBCS.
Less than 3 short boxes. So what’s that…60-75?
I would say 60/40 CGC/CBCS percentage breakdown.
I, probably way off too….if I actually took the time to count I’m sure I’d find 100 slabs.
Fifteen slabs so far. Have a huge pile to submit, but the turnaround times at both CGC and CBCS are off-putting.
I just got my invoice for PGX today18 days from the time they received them and ship them back out including pressing and cleaning.
It’s to bad they don’t sell as well as the other brands. I think there gradings good and the labels aren’t as bad as they used to be.
I only recently got into slabbing. In total I’d say I have 14 slabs. Most being cgc or cbcs. most slabs I buy cheap and for personal collection, waiting on 2 different cgc orders I sent in of 11 books
