Ok submission is back from PGX with pressing fast track and shipping and insurance both ways came out to about $36 dollars a book. Lots of insurance on the way back which I guess means you did well lol.
And last one was a big surprise, grabbed it real quick just looking for a book to add to the order to fill out the packaging saw it was a newsstand and worth a shot.
I got the first half of my last CGC submission a few days ago. The next half are all modern, so who knows how long it will be until I see them. Glad to have these back!
I would usually submit at shows but there have been none locally where CGC had a booth since before Covid. I hate submitting any amount of books through the mail but with CGC price hikes and the books just plain going up I felt I had to bite the bullet and get these graded before prices go up again. It coast me more to grade these then it did purchasing them.
So I sent this in at the beginning of last summer and JUST now got it back finally. Case has some scuffs. But there is a piece of debris like a paper shard stuck on the INSIDE of the case! I can’t believe how sloppy! I waited over 7 months for this crap. I guess now I have to figure out how to deal with customer service. Its bad enough they make Last Ronin books get graded at the magazine level. But at least do a quality job. So disappointed.
I sold a Hulk 181 signed by Stan Lee 8.0 for almost $7000, and when the guy got it he sent me a message saying that there was a hair in the case (with photo). I was like, uhhh, I dunno man, thats weird. He told me it was ok, and maybe it was Stan Lee’s! LOL!
Yeah it’s real bad. I can understand the crazy TATs since it’s like that across the collectibles industry, but the QC is horrendous. No excuse for it.
Got back one of my HR #1 Sway Variants in December that I sent in in May and it was mislabeled, so I had to send back to be fixed, which is likely 2 or more months.
