Wow…I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone break 200
Pts. Granted we’re only an 8 team league…but still very impressive.
So we’re going to get the 1 vs 2 matchup I would say is deserved based on a full season’s work. Rusty has been a consistent winner all season. Waymond has been the hottest team in the second half.
And Dirty D is also going to take on Wreck it Ralph (who won the battle of “6-7”) for title of Best Looser…
Everyone else is just playing to pad their total season stats…

As this is the last night, I just wanted to thank you all again for your participation. I hope you all enjoyed it, even during the torturous bye weeks and injuries. I’m already looking forward to next year and hopefully we can field a 12-man league. Good luck to all who have a player from tonight’s game starting on their roster.

Rusty is hoping his hot Tight End (stupid sexy Flanders) can hold off Vengeance’s dynamic duo of Stafford to Puka. Did they use up all their steam scoring 70+ pts last week between them …?
The AI fantasy football “gods” are saying Vengeance is a strong favorite…but I’m not so sure seeing as Pitts Sr. has scored 45 pts the past couple weeks and is on a tear.
I say it’s going down to the wire….

Well, that went about as well as I expected. Congrats, Waymond! That was a heck of a team you put together! And despite the loss I thoroughly enjoyed the game and the entire season. Thanks for letting me play! Next year can’t come soon enough.
Let me know where I can send the comic, or if we’re going to put a pool together for the winners.

managing your team this season. Towards the end of the season, I thought Rusty Staples would be unbeatable, honestly. Then, Fantasy magic kicked in. About the spoils of victory, I guess we need to decide how to distribute the book that each person sends. That will be 8 books sent out—how should we divvy them up? I defer to you guys because I am perfectly fine with whatever.
8 teams.
Here are a couple ideas for end of season payouts, but surely not the only options:
Option 1
5 books to the champ
3 books to the runner up
Option 2
5 books to the champ
2 books to the runner up
1 book to the last place team or loser bracket winner/loser
Option 3
5 books to the champ
2 books to the runner up
1 book to the scoring champ (more often than not will be the champ or runner up)
Option 4
7 books all to the champ (champ then off the hook for sending a book)
Any of these work? Other ideas?

As far as book selection, does this work:
1st place chooses 2 books
2nd place chooses 1 book
1st place chooses 2 books
2nd place chooses 1 book
3rd place chooses 1 book
1st place gets the last book
Of course, open to other suggestions. Guessing there might be an easier way to divvy it up…

The more the merrier ! I had a blast… this year I did this league , a pick-em and a suicide pool. I also had really hectic year and probably didn’t give it all the attention it deserved , But it was a desperately needed distraction from the “real world” even if only for a short while.
It was good. I didn’t do well but I blame my wife. Anyway, we can assign who sends what to where
I’m good with what everyone else is good with. Little confused to be honest.
For example…I would think the winner would not send a book…so shouldn’t the max total be 7 (one from each 2nd - 8th)?
