The Legends book is supposed to be Robin King’s Origin story from what I’ve heard. Having a hard time nailing down what book to get. Going to be one where you shotgun approach it in my opinion and cover all the bases.

Death Metal 2 is going to be his first

Also technically Dark Knights Metal #2 is his 1st appearance since it’s just one of the Robins that will put on Batman Who Laughs crown.

I saw some pages of Death Metal 2. I asked a source online about it.

The “source” stated that the Robin character doesnt get his crown in DM2. As for this Darkest Knight character, the “source” didnt share anymore pages so I have no idea if he is in any more.

Oh wow so we might have a completely new character no one saw coming. He’s on the cover that black cloud in the corner Wonder Woman is squaring up to fight on the regular cover and black clouds or smoke on other covers too.

That’s also pretty much the origin for Robin King when you read it. So the Metal Robin will take the crown. I think this could push the original Metal #2 higher since it’s tied for 1st Batman Who Laughs with less panels but is More panels and the first full of the Robins than TT #12

I wish I could see the page next to the darkest knight :exploding_head:

f#*^ it’s Blackwinter someone ask Cates

All the stuff I could find a couple pages released by Snyder the past few months and some weird Cthulhu Batman on a store cover.

It’s a top secret Marvel/DC crossover.

I found this they don’t know if it’s for Nightwing #72 that comes out this week or for #73.

He is dressed like that in the couple page preview DC released for #72 minus the joker makeup

“In 1977 I used spec proceeds to buy 200 original art pages from Jack and Roz Kirby out of the trunk of their car during San Diego that year. I got to pick first from 600 pages in there.”

Bob Beerbohm (who’s last name beats out @davidbitterbaum ) is a pretty cool guy.

He’s been know to post on the CBCS forums on occasion cool photos and history about working at and owning a comic shop in the bay are decades ago. He had some great pictures.

He would talk about a book he’s writing capturing the scene in the 70s and 80s when comic the book craze really took off (devoted stores, conventions, the direct market) but I have yet to see it published.

100% agree.
When the day comes, when we hear of a trailer definitely/likely/possibly involving Wolverine and we see the snapshot of the Claws, people are going to go nuts. All is quiet now on the western front, but when that day comes it will break the internet.
