Thanks for posting this up, but when I contacted my comic shop they have Cover H as the JOCK Foil variant and the other Jimenez cover is Cover M. I try it also on ComicHub, they only have CVR A, G 1:25, and M (Not revealed) by Jimenez. Did they change the CVR H from Jock to this?

Was RWBY a hit though? Didnā€™t they cancel the solo series title?

No idea but the show is still popular and a lot more people watch stuff than they read stuff. I couldnā€™t get into the rwby show but I know it has a big fanbase

Yeah, I figured the show has more fans but when they say things like ā€œThe RWBY/Justice League comic book series was a breakthrough hitā€ā€¦ I just kind of roll my eyes at such marketing terms. Like, what do they consider a hit? Very low standards Iā€™d imagine.

I actually did not know that. Thatā€™s cool

The red design cover with Failsafe shown for Batman 125 is cover M the Failsafe Protocol(not revealed at FOC) Jimenez cover. Currently hitting about 30 dollars on ebay if anyone is looking to flip it. Since its DC and most likely heavily printed book definitely tread with caution.

Explains why my Rwby 7A just sold. Another $40!

Rebound week for sales this week. Still not great though.

I think it might be lightly printed, as the cover image wasnā€™t released until after FOC, and it is one of many open order variants.

Where do people get the crazy notion that DC prints more? Marvel is the one the prints more and ships more to make it look like they sell more when really they sell much less of each comic.

Both publishers print more than what stores order.

Why do you think you see unsold copies in Walmart packsā€¦?

And even when Diamond was reporting sales with Comichron reporting such sales, we got a ā€œballparkā€ idea of print runs but who knows how many countless others were printed and distributed in other ways outside of Diamond.

This new age 2nd, 3rd and beyond printings is just marketing tactics to push publishing numbers and sales. Even the first prints arenā€™t really telling us actual demand since a large majority of sales are multiple copies to the same buyer. A true demand ratio is 1:1 and weā€™ll never see that because publishers want you to buy many copies of the same book because they have variant covers.

You donā€™t understand what Iā€™m saying. For at least 10 years now Marvel has been upping the orders that comic shops put in and sending them extra comics that end up sitting on the shelf for years or in the dollar bin. Marvel does this to make it LOOK like they out sell DC every month. DC doesnā€™t over print and over ship. Probably cause Warner doesnā€™t give a damn.

Marvel hasnt done this in years.

Every publisher over-prints

Yes they have. If they stopped itā€™s only cause they left Diamond.

No they havent. You are lying.
