Alright, back on topic people! Talk about DC books heating upâŠ
I pre-ordered a copy of Batman 125; this will be my first DC purchase. I have really enjoyed the writing of Zdarsky and thought this would be a decent read. There might be some long term growth if the story is good.
Wow! Hope you enjoy it. I think Zdarsky will do a good job.
Holy crap. Welcome to the Divine Continuum.
Iâve been reading more of the DC Black Label stuff lately, and Iâm really impressed. 99% of my spec dollars go to Marvel, but most of the new stuff just seems so rushed and thrown together. Even the current Moon Knight series, which was interesting early on, just seems so aimless and meandering. Time to yank that from the pull list.
Batman: The Imposter, Swamp Thing Green Hell, Strange Adventures, Batman: Beyond the White Knight⊠all good so far.
I would like to suggest The Swamp Thing by Ram V.
I tracked down 9 issues of this so far from a shopâs dollar bin and TFAWâs dollar sale. Iâve heard itâs great.
Didnât one of these characters appear in Batgirl (2016) #7?
Hell Arisen 3 is starting to move again on news of Punchlineâs new series coming this fall.
As a Punchline mega-fan I am excited to see her first full gain some attention as well as her getting a new series.
Disclosure: I own 3 copies, one graded as a 9.6 and another Iâm going to have pressed and submitted as a 9.8 candidate.
Nice! I didnât know sheâs getting a full series soon. I have 1 copy of the federici variant, 3 3rd prints, and 1 first print cover A cbcs ss 9.6 graded signed by Tynion that I got for a steal a few months ago.
Yup Hell Arisen 3 is moving like candy atm
Has HA3 over taken Batman 89 officially as the book to own?
Itâs always been âthe bookâ. I think the full appearance and the âlowerâ print run compared to a Batman issue is what cemented it.
Agreed.
I also think that 2nd and 3rd prints of HA3 have a larger print run than 1sts.
I really like the third print purple cover.
I donât think the later prints were higher. But they werenât low runs for sure.
