eBay Headaches

Worst part is these two books were a part of a larger order, and the other two had no “damage”. I also gave him a discount where he essentially got these two for free. I don’t get people.

I do, people exploit the rules and guidelines and feel protected sitting behind their keyboards on the internet, knowing they’re getting something for nothing. This is the same shit most would not do in person but feel because they’re many miles away with no physical interaction, they can get away with it with less guilt.

Same thing applies to shitty drivers who think the rules of the road don’t apply to them by not signaling, cutting others off, running red lights, etc…

Just stop now. I don’t have the time to rescue you from Anthony’s basement and if you keep talking I’ll feel obligated to.

I just had the same thing happen to me from some guy in CA. He took a few days to pay for the comics too. Which was a forecast of problems . I told him to return the comics. Keeping my fingers crossed that there isn’t anymore problems.

Thanks. I blocked that guy.

Did the value drop in a week ? Is the buyer an ass hole ? Opening a case is NOT the way to go about finding out if a package has shipped.

Sellers having “NEWSSTAND” in the title when its a direct edition

Low feedback score = little comic knowledge

Newsstand, Not CGC, Not 9.8, Not CBCS, Not Hot, Somewhat Rare, A little VHTF

That should do the trick

Which means they likely don’t know what they have so a great deal generally. Though shipping is oftentimes an issue.

It’s been a bit since I posted (been busy).

I know it doesn’t affect comics but what about the new Money Back Guarantee policy with trading cards? I wonder if they will ever go there with books?
“Buyer must request a return THREE DAYS after delivery, if seller has “no returns” listed.”

On a random side note-I’m actually liking Ebay directly depositing my money into my account, as opposed to paypal. It’s just one less step for me to deal with. Also, don’t have to go run down the fees I paid paypal, fees I paid Ebay and subtract to get my “profit”, really just have to subtract shipping fee now.

If that’s all you asked, and the seller couldn’t be bothered to respond, then I say f’ em. You did your due diligence as a buyer. The seller did not. His lack of effort will now be his loss. M2c

There should not be duty on the comic books or trading cards. Our countries have a free trade agreement, that the current US president actually honours.

I also enjoy this…now, the fees I don’t enjoy, but its a necessary evil for now.

My fees are totalling 13.8%. How come it says 12.35% + $0.30 in the seller fee section?

Probably because of sales tax that the buyer paid. Your fees as a percentage would be higher since you are being charged fees on the total amount including sales tax but the percentage calculation is calculated with the actual lower sales amount.
