eBay issues

Instead of “Boss Man”, I often get “Hey Bro”.

Glad to see proper English is alive and well amongst the dudes.

Some like to say there are no stupid questions…just the ones you don’t ask.

…I beg to differ….

this is a new one for me, where I complete the transaction however the buyer disputes the transaction with their credit card and state they dont recognize the transaction.

i believe ebay covers us in these cases?

This is a first for me, but I know others have dealt with this - When eBay pulls down one of your listings for violating the Adult Content policy. Do you re-list, appeal, or just forget about selling the item on eBay?

The front and back cover feature no nudity

I put up my Adam Hughes Cherry 3 different times with 3 different ways of listing by Title. Once even not having “Cherry” in the title.
I also appealed and heard nothing back.
Finally gave up and still have the stupid expensive book that I I guess will remain stupid expensive and vastly unsellable :rage:

I recently appealed a book and never heard back. They just keep hitting me up that there is a listing with an issue. I think the appeals button is just like the button at a crosswalk. It makes you feel good about doing something.

I had an issue where I was trying to sell 3 different Marc Jacob’s tote bags. 2 where flagged as fake and one sold just fine. I never bothered with an appeal or relist.

I think some bags that come from outlet stores get flagged. My wife sold a coach purse she got from the outlet and it came back as fake. We had the receipt and all. Did no good. Yet people can sell fake Yeezi slides on there and they mark them as authentic.

Well shit. This has never happened to me.

I have been hit that my postage has been too little (which I use a scale to weigh and 99% have no problem) and they charge me. But I have never been given a refund.

What’s amazing is the amount refunded… $2.85 for just what… a little over 5oz difference? When I’ve played with the weights, usually I don’t see much difference when it’s just a few ounces between and I usually add a few just to be safe, despite usually seeing no difference in price I have to pay.

It depends on where it’s going. If I ship something in the region, the difference between 12 oz and 1 lb is around $0.50, but if I were to ship to CA or HI it’s over a $2 difference between those weights.

If anyone else can dupicate the magic of shipping a comic for 3 ounces please tell me!

You were dead in the water when the “Bro” came out.
I soooooooo despise being addressed that way and know that clientele.

…and Santa is real.

Give me a break… :rofl::sweat_smile:

I could mail a comic weighing 3-4 ounces, if I didnt package it…

I can ship a comic 3 oz all day. No board. No mailer. Just a label on the bag. I got you boo.

I will give him a point for at least saying hello before the dumbness.

Back in the days when they’d just slap a mailing label directly on the magazine or comic to deliver, then yes, you might be able to ship for 3-4oz depending on the weight of the comic itself. Newsprint much lighter back in the day, heavier stocks today not so likely gonna meet that threshold.

Wouldn’t it be just as easy to discount the price of the comic $1?

That’s basically what they’re asking….not sure why they’re stuck on price of shipping…other than the dumbness thing.
