F-you usps

It was probably a note NOT to scan your packages…for spite. lol. Instructions were to “Fake Scan.”

You’re now “that guy”…bringing in all the packages making them work for their paycheck…

This is like an episode of curb your enthusiasm…

It’s extra dumb because scanning pre-paid mail has to be one of the easiest things they do all day. When they actually bother.

My point is why fake it when it takes just as much energy to do it for real

My kids are gonna be great future USPS workers… They use to spend more time hiding the dishes they took to their room than it would have taken them to just take to the kitchen, quick rinse and throw in dishwasher…

My kids spend more time whining about doing homework or chores than it takes to do them….so start to finish it takes them more than twice as long as it should…their brains can’t comprehend it and that’s why they complain about how long chores take…

If your post office is giving you a hard time about scanning a package and giving a receipt I’d make their work life’s miserable.

I mean I’m sure you’re going in with your packages all labeled and ready to go, right? I’d go in once without being prepared and have them weigh and label the packages and see which they prefer.

The hate the scan people.

I walk into the po this morning and the process took not more than 20 seconds.

If you would like, I’ll record it next time and forward to you so you can show them what it’s supposed to look like.

You can point blank ask them “why can’t this be you?”

Ha. That would be great. A training film.

I never have issues like I’m reading on here with my local post office (knocks on wood). Yes there’s generally one poor soul working the register with a line to the door but that’s what the drop off window is for and it’s always scanned within 15 minutes. No attitude if I do wait in line for the scan. It could be because the woman I see working there the most tells me I remind her of her son so I get brownie points for that haha

10 packages.

93 seconds. That’s starting from the moment I hand them over until I’m given the receipt. That’s 9 seconds per package.

This is also while having conversation about how the clerk is ready to retire this year. So multi-tasking is possible.

Feel free to share this with your local PO, @Anthony .

I went to the post office off the highway by where my wife works. No one in there. Took 10 packages. Had them scanned and talked about how shitty my post office is. The counter lady agreed with me.

By driving to the out of the way post office by my wife’s office, a package went from Baltimore to San Diego in three days. I swear I hate selling to California on Mercari because it takes so long to get there and then get rated, but three days is fast.

I don’t like getting paid after the sale, no matter what the delay.

eBay you don’t get the money right away either. Takes a day to clear and then wait for payouts.

Yeah…but it’s just processing. The buyer cant stop it (formality). Buyers on Mercari usually take their time giving you a review (if they even do) and it takes a few more days to get it…/even after it’s delivered.

I don’t have problems usually. Did have one wait until almost the end of the 72 hours. Sent him a message. When he rated me I hit him with a 3 star rating telling him to rate faster.

I have a $200+ balance right now. Just letting it sit until I need it.

I would say maybe half of my sales get ratings

I know you all think I am crazy and yelling at clouds, but god damn post man didn’t even bother to pick up or drop off my mail. Christmas 2025 will be the last time I leave a tip for them.

Day two with no mail delivery or pickup. I actually took all my sales from yesterday and Friday to a different post office. In and out inn2 minutes but had a 20 minute drive to get there (each way). I left the flag up on my mail box to see if they are purposefully avoiding me. They delivered the rest of the neighborhood’s mail and skipped over me. Think it’s because I called and reported them. I just want them to do their jobs. This is crazy.

This will be the first year I do not tip my mail carrier at Christmas.
