They’re being insanely petty.

Feels that way.

@anthony Do you have usps informed delivery? It should tell you what is on the truck, including letter and envelopes (mine get scanned and I get pictures).

That would tell you what is actually on the truck. Film them and provide evidence they are intentionally not delivering mail. Thats a federal crime.

Are they that stupid?

Yes. We have it so I know what was supposed to come on Friday. It still hasn’t arrived. When I went to the other post office today she said they can claim there is snow blocking your box. That’s a game they have apparently been playing is my guess. Driving to the post office on Monday and demanding my mail. The post master there is useless though. She was the one who told me of the privilege of the scan. FYI I have already been paid for one package that didn’t get scanned….

I assume your mailbox access is no worse than your neighbors, and you can prove it (pictures).

I dunno. Just keep gathering evidence. Take photos of them delivering mail to your neighbor and film them passing your box by.

It won’t be long before they can’t use snow as an excuse…so what will they come up with then?

Jerks.

So this is the really funny thing. My mailbox and my neighbors mailbox, are on the same post. They skipped my mailbox and delivered to our neighbor. On the same post. I can post a photo. My son saw the mail truck in the neighborhood but did not see the truck when it got to our house, he was out riding his e-bike. My wife saw the truck on Friday but don’t think to watch because we don’t know they would skip our house. Needless to say, two days of emails on what we were supposed to get, but no mail. I really think it was because my flag was up and I had packages.

Should we get a film crew to follow you @Anthony and start the new reality show… “Post Office Wars!”

Gonna start doing those “first amendment audits” to show how bad it is. I hate those guys but it could help me.

Well, this is a fun one. I mailed an eBay sale on Saturday from Tampa to Lakeland, which is about 30-40 minutes away. The guy messages me today that the package is in Dallas, TX. I told him I printed the label directly through eBay so it had his correct address. I have no idea why it is in Texas.

You can also re-print the label and screen shot it to him. Tracking number and all.

Jeez. So what’s the recourse when employees are vengeful against customers?

That’s crazy!
We are near the top of the most litigious countries in the world, and yet the PO is untouchable?.
Even for (especially for) intentional non-delivery?
So a postman can say to himself “ahhhhh eff it and eff this guy. I don’t like him so I’m just not going to deliver to him anymore”. Or “I’m pissed off today, this block is out of luck. Eff them”.
WTH
I haven’t read the ruling, but I can’t see how it could be appropriate ruling when it’s intentional and deliberate.

The idea of suing a mail carrier definitely adds a twist to the song, “Please, Mr. Postman.”

I was just coming to post that same article. Heh…

They say every year the post office loses more and more money so one lawsuit would probably bankrupt them anyway at this point haha

Downsizing deadbeats/leeches like the ones at @Anthony ’s PO may help with their cash woes.
