This is what I was saying on the CBSI article. These sites have a lot of power and ability to sway what people are looking for. An article can move a lot of people to to a book that has no real merit or value. FOMO is running rampant with all these options and movie/tv deals and credibility and fact checking are paramount in these conditions.
Yup and we’ll run the news if it seems credible but it’s really up to people visiting the site to do their own due diligence when actually buying. Yes, most sites might tell people to go an issue that might turn key but I myself usually just point out the key books, never telling people to buy. That’s their own choice.
Someone could write an article about an obscure worthless book and watch people buy it without ever fact checking.
Yup, this is why CHU always reminds people, check other resources, due your own research before buying…
Topher never forgets! First, I asked Mike when getting Comic Reader 183 signed at a show ( his first published art ) and got a wink, nod and asmile outta him! Also, the first time Hellboy copyright was noted anywhere was in issue 14. I get it, it’s just a poster and it’s obscured but that is Hellboy. It also makes sense because Hellboy was not a real character, he was a comic hero inside of the Next Men universe so his likeness should be present in the comic related material within. Look speculators, It doesn’t have to be worth more than any other book ya like but a first is a first.
We get it. You got the book to pump and sell.
No comments in 7 years = nobody gives a shit

It’s a by-the-dictionary ‘first’, but it’s not a first that collectors give much of a rat’s ass about.
Imagine being butt hurt for 7 years lol.
Wait, what are we talking about that happened seven years ago? I can barely remember what happened last week.
Good God, seven years ago. Covid wasn’t even a thing yet and Marvel was on top of the world with Endgame making all the money in theaters.
