The blurb says something about metal man or metalio I don’t remember exactly but I assume that its what it is…maybe not?

Marvel owns Crossgen. They bought it like a years before Disney bought Marvel. Marvel also owns Malibu. Would like to see them integrate some of the characters into the MCU.
Crossgen Tales including the 1:50 are on FOC for 10/3.

It may be a property rights manoeuvre? Or Marvel may be testing the waters…
I can’t imagine they test the waters with an 8.99 comic reprinting multiple issue 1s. My guess is there’s something requiring them to print at least once every X years to avoid rights changing.

CrossGen had the licence to produce the 3 issue mini, but I would doubt there would be any rights remaining for Disney.
Especially with Don Bluth producing the Ryan Reynolds reboot.
On a side note, I did just sell the 3 issue mini with the Graham Crackers cover for issue 1 for $240 on my ebay - so there’s that going for it.
