Oh, so all of these variants featuring a character will have that “The Other” stamp in the upper left?

Another book I’ll be picking up.

Hard to pass on a “Foil-ized” gold/silver age key!

Usually these are “con exclusives” asking $40.

I think this book was mentioned in another thread a while back…but I don’t know how much shops are calling attention to it.

A Virgin cover would be an instant hit…I don’t see one offered anywhere, but it looks like a limited trade dress is pretty nice too. I think I’m grabbing a couple…has been out a while, so it’s a long shot with the potential of a high ceiling, IMO.

Maybe this spider-man is gonna be in it or something, Poison I think was the name

I dig the samurai Venom covers as well!

Yeah, if I had to choose what character may be a hit with fans, that’d be my choice. It’s different…and who doesn’t love a good samuri?

Doesn’t hurt Momoko is assigned the cover art and did a good job.

Synopsis for issue 25:

The past and the present collide in this oversized and monumental 25th issue! Your heart isn’t ready for this one.

Here’s another one to keep an eye on…rumors of Mary Janes death may be greatly exaggerated…and usually character deaths are only temporary and quick flips at best…but if this does happen in issue 25, I think cover A is the winner.

Of course, I can totally see this being one of those last panel Of a character on the brink of death…only to leave it as a cliff hanger into issue 26…

Now fully in the present, the Emissary has returned and his power is so far beyond Spider-Man’s abilities. The heroes may figure out a way to win, but the cost of victory will be so immense that you may hope they don’t…

Actually, reading issue 27 synopsis it looks like 26 is the death issue:

Grief looms over Peter after last issue’s shocking death! Spider-Man’s villains are more than happy to keep him distracted? Your eyes don’t deceive you, DOCTOR OCTOPUS IS BACK!

BTW, there is a “blank” variant of BM181…I really hope it’s just the Batman logo, and not the upper part of a “rendered” cover, lol.

Hopefully this is just an artist rendition…

Watch DC do a 2nd print…lol

Agreed, this would look so much cleaner without the red background.

Lots of Samurai this week Venom, Blade 2099, All New Iron Shogun

MOTHER’S DAY SPECIAL… One of Iron Man’s greatest regrets was his inability to save his mother’s life. Iron Man dons new armor, an oni mask and twin plasma katanas on his quest to make his long list of regrets one item shorter. For his mom, he becomes the all-new IRON SHOGUN. This episode is set in the '90s era of Iron Man comics and, just like every other episode, is ideal for new readers as a jumping-on point for the series.

I love these foil covers from DC so I’m all for it. I got the original but will be picking up a few of these for the PC

Wow that’s insane. The first time I’ve seen a cover just completely re-used for a totally different series (even if it’s foil now).

I normally like foil covers…but I think they are best when cover art is simple or colors vibrant. this may not look great given all the detail and complex colors.

Think I’m going to stick to the original on this one until I see it.

It’s not a new series. It’s a book with a collection of covers by various artists. I think DC has done this before with Harley Quinn uncovered.
