That is what I was looking for @TheUltimate, thank you. I didn’t realize that the Image Anthology had anything to do with this universe.

But was in the story for #1

Mycomicshop has NM copies for $6.50 if anyone is interested.

I was going to make this the pick of the week. But the. I read that the first volume was going to be existing characters. Volumes 2 and 3 were likely to have new characters that have yet to appear.

Going by memory here. But that is why I didn’t draw much attention to it.

There was a preview for issue 2 that has some of the new characters in it, so issue 1 could be 1st cameo in preview???

Was on the cover of issue 8.

Oh, was already pointed out. Never mind.

I meant inside any of the Geiger Universe books, He first appears in issue #1 in story, is on the cover to #8

I’m not sure if these guidebooks will matter. Typically appearances in an actual story are what matters. These are essentially a collection of character bios.

I’ve heard that Lost Fantasy #5 is the first appearance of Fireborn - are you able to look through your issue and confirm for me? Thanks.

Welcome @juber

HAS image gone into any more details about mask blind bags ?

Way too many variants for this one I think. I was a M.A.S.K. fan back in the day but I don’t think there’s actual demand to warrant some of these 1:500 type variant covers and honestly, seems like the higher up the ratios go, the worse the covers are. I would not pay more than cover for most of these…

This is going to be retailers who lived in the 80s who were fanboys chasing the variants I fear… hoping they can cash out but end up with a lot of leftover stock that sits for a while, a long while.

Head Lopper? If these sales figures continue, Image might surpass Marvel at this rate :joy:

Pretty sure Image in total has more sales than Marvel. So few Marvel books atm and the sales are pitiful.

Did people not realize Head Lopper isn’t a “new” series? And increased their orders based on perceived speculation?

100%, Head Lopper came out in 2016. The comic landscape was so much different then. Guaranteed a large portion of people ordering pre foc had no idea there was a series before this :joy:

I actually like this strategy from Marvel (putting out less books). Focus on putting out more quality than quantity.

It was only a few years ago that they were flooding the market with books. They seem to have cut back quite a bit.

I’d always believe less is more in anything. Back when I first got into comics there were only a few X-related titles. It was very easy to pick up everything and follow along. Nowadays there’s so many titles, miniseries and events that it’s very easy to drop titles. Especially with the price of comics nowadays. Put out fewer titles and the marvel zombies will buy everything.
