I think I mentioned it somewhere, but the series they did last year was very good. Pretty gory but that’s to be expected. Art was fantastic.

looks like quintana cant meet deadlines looking at lunar there are now only 4 covers
and still no images with foc pushed to next monday now
makes you wonder if dc is going to black list him from exclusives for not their meeting deadlines

I don’t know how much of this is Quintana’s doing as it is DC expecting too much. Clearly DC wanted a bunch of covers out before/around Halloween with the glow in the darks. And he may have agreed to meet the schedule, but being glow in the dark perhaps they ran into unanticipated complications getting it “right” such that it would look best. And that lead to extra work/unavoidable delays.
Just saying situation is a bit unusual…and that maybe the real issue at the root. Not so much the artist fault 100%.
So seems unlikely DC would do something like you’re suggesting as it could create a lasting rift for a short term issue.

He’s had plenty of time setting up at shops & cons, making art, being the comic God of the moment etc.

It really depends on when DC asked Quintana if he was up for 8 covers. That’s a lot of work, especially if he was/is doing these traditionally. But it was up to him to be realistic if he could deliver in the amount of time they gave him.
So now theres only 2 Quintana glow in the dark covers…

Not that happy a Halloween for his fans.
Of the 4 day NYCC, he only made himself available for autographs for 5 hours. Im sure he could have sat there for 4 days and raked in the doh if he wanted.
That being said, I was hoping to check out his line and prices. But never made it to his signing location to scope it out. It wasn’t in artist alley, but with a vendor.
Anyone here stop buy his signing? I had three books…but since math on how much I’d get, assumed he’d be charging $30/sig and realized It was more profitable to get 3-4 comics from the Walmart booth or just dig for cheap backissues.
