It’s limited to whatever they get for pre-orders. And when those sell out they’ll create a second printing.
I see there’s a foil variant too…I’ve found that foil variants tend to kill spec value on most things lately…or despite the more limited run they sell for less than the non-foil.
It is a Brett Bean cover, though…so it has that going for it.

Oh yeah, I overall made a profit on the DCC stuff thanks to the pink cover and Akira homage. That’s why I would say I just got a little toasty in the end with the Jetpack variants.
At this point, the spec is just going to die down. If the show looks good there will be another wave of excitement right before it is aired. If the show is good and becomes popular it might have legs for the long term. I wouldn’t go big on any new stuff right now. Looking at this property as a long term hold for now.
Agreed, if this was a stock and I was an analyst I’d give it a HOLD rating. I got my collected vault delivery finally, 10 copies. Might send a few off to get graded in my next submission.

I’m a big hater of them doing additional printings on exclusives and using the same art. Majorpayne, vault, and probably jetpack is doing it. I’m wondering if the Denham cover will have a 2nd print. Whole thing kind of sucks because they are charging a premium for it in the first place. I saw 616 do reprints of an exclusive cover I liked; and to me that ruins the collectability of the original. I don’t remember exclusive reprints using the same art being a thing, but my memory sucks. I’m referring to original art exclusives, not reused open-order art.

I think Revenge Of had the coolest cover, but that is an aggressive price for open order. Maybe the play is price it high so that the print run stays relatively low?

Will be interesting to see if they cave. I’m only holding one pink collected comics copy and the two jetpack trade dresses (because I can’t sell them…small investment anyway).
I got one fcbd left, sold the rest. Keeping it to see if it goes anywhere. Don’t mind getting stuck with it, it’s free.

Finally received the pink covers this week.
Nothing from majorpayne yet. I only ordered 3 sets so I haven’t lost all hope on receiving them but honestly, that guy comes off as kind of shady. I’ve seen his FB posts about how he’s anti-fomo and anti-scappers or whatever. As a business owner, your job after receiving paid orders is to ship them out to customers. That’s it.
You’re not an activist. You’re not a savior. You’re a business owner. So do business things and get your orders out ASAP
