Pre-Sales starting around $40 on eBay up to $99 with just the handful of listings.
Oh now Image sent out a updated marketing email with correction and it’s now showing the black cover with spoiler across it again… Hmmm 
So it’s probably not this cover then… but this one does have #16 as the issue so…

That cover has certain esthetic qualities that certainly make it nice.
Yeah, was thinking same thing. It’s funny they try to send out the correction but duh, do they really expect this spoiler image to not get updated across the webs? Probably did it on purpose so we sit here and talk about it… 
Okay so I thought that this cover was going to be an exclusive for Liefeld at his store, but it turns out it is an open order variant for issue 5 of Batman - The Long Halloween: The Last Halloween

I’ll know that Liefeld isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I enjoy his work. His love of comics and passion for the creators that inspire is infectious. He inspires me to draw and take leaps, and that means something to me.
Anyways, here is the cover. I’ll admit that my biased is even further tilted as I own the original pencils 
for the cover art. It is Liefeld’s first Batman-title cover, and the way he channels Tim Sale with his Joker portrayal.
Not to be outdone, but Cover A by the late Tim Sale is also awesome! I love the negative space and color choices!
Art is subjective. I know we gave the cover a lot of shit, but in the end, if you are happy with your purchase, that is the most important thing. Congrats on the purchase
Sale is definitely an acquired taste. I did enjoy many of his Marvel “color” minis (Hulk Grey, DD Yellow, etc).
That being said I do like this Joker Cover.
I’ve been finding the Cover As for the Absolute Wonder Woman run pretty mediocre. The variants on the other hand have been pretty great, here is the Villalobos for #4.
