It’s from 1984, not sure where it was published before. Maybe a pinup. But here is the original art. He passed away in 2008

I wish Dekal would heat up like Mora did. There are a lot of great Dekal covers. I still really like the Catwoman and Harley roller skating one from a few years ago.

To be fair, DC seems a little less eager to cancel books at or before the tenth issue than Marvel. When you read a DC ongoing, it is actually an ongoing, not a stealth mini-series canceled after low sales. Another way DC is, “Owning,” Marvel as of late.
Agree. And it’s good policy to let a title run a bit. I’m thinking Walking Dead would’ve been axed at 6 issues at Marvel.
I picked up that Tran Nguyen also, I can’t get over the fact she does it all in coloured pencils. I usually make it a rule not pay more than cover for ratio incentives, but that one I paid for. Another was this Dekal:
