I Like What I'm Reading (not spec'ing, but like actually reading)!

I vaguely recall the first issue. I thought the art was stellar.

I continue to be so impressed with Strange Academy. Just a fun comic book, and I love how they continue to incorporate seldom used characters into the story.

Issue #11 was great. A reintroduction to Cat-Beast, Howard the Duck as a Private Eye, and even a new appearance of a villain. Well, transformation into a villain but still a first full appearance.
I’m actually surprised to have not seen anything prior on this issue.

I have Strange Academy on my pull. Haven’t got to read issue 11 yet but yeah, this series is great.

I forgot I had this one come in because I’ve been so busy. I read it last night, started out a little slow and then ramped up, great ending! I probably have a little over a shortbox full of this series, I just like it so much.

Also, just finished Eve 1 and 2…really good so far! Not sure if its been mentioned yet.

I got a chance to read Out of Body #1 last night. Really great read, I thoroughly enjoyed it and looking forward to the next issue now. Maybe it’ll see the same love that We Live is getting cause I must say, I really like Miranda’s artwork for the interiors.

I still haven’t read this one…just had time to read Eve, I’ll put this one up next

I’ve just read By the Horns #2. Really like the first two books. Quirky and interesting take on Unicorns! However, don’t give it to small children expecting the usual take of unicorns, fluffy clouds and rainbows!

Finally got around to reading Time Before Time 1 and 2. It’s great! I love time travel stories, and this one seems really interesting so far.

The Nice House on the Lake … that was a seriously great first issue. Awesome twist at the end. Can’t wait to see where this goes.

Geiger … really liking this series as well. It has a lot of potential for the story. Really cool open world sci-fi story similar to the open world of Nocterra.

Out of Body … meh. Ok … but not something I’ll add longterm. Artwork was decent but couldn’t get into the story.

Just read Me You Love in the Dark #1 (of 5) and it was awesome I thought. The art is spot on as well.

Is it like the movie Ghost?

I didn’t get that vibe from it, at least the first issue.

Can you confirm or deny if she gets freaky with an apparition?

Recent reads:

Mamo #1 - Gorgeous art. It looks soft and magical in itself. Story is engaging enough to get me next issue.

Ordinary Gods #1 - A big fan of gods stories. Bias aside, this is how you open up a debut issue. Read it.

Really enjoying the new Green Lantern series. Intriguing story as the DC universe reforms around the United Planets. Great cliff-hanger at the end of #2
