I Like What I'm Reading (not spec'ing, but like actually reading)!

I cant unsee them anymore. Lol. Kind of tolerant with just n*des, but those were just demonic haha

Just read Primordial #1. That was a great read. Now I can’t wait for the next issue.

Most everyone else will have to wait until September 15th though.

I’m all over this one. Can’t wait. One of the most intriguing ideas for a story I’ve seen this year.

I added a few as well. Can’t go wrong with the price.

Working through my “to be read” pile and finally got to Mouse Guard - The Owlhen Caregiver and Other Tales. Just … wow. Three short morality tales beautifully drawn. Just one warning, if you’ve lost someone close to you, the first one will probably have you in tears. You have been warned.

Another Summary:

  1. Electric Black: So, this one was actually a decent read. I would not say it’s earth-shattering stories or art, but entertaining to some extent. The concept is cool, and reminds me of Tales from the Crypt. The store keeper is interesting and can weave a good yarn. The first story was so-so, but the 2nd one was a bit more engaging.

Anyone read Parasomnia? This was actually a good read for issue #1. Really liked the story and concept - especially the way it blended reality and the dream state. Will definitely check out issue #2.

Bought the 1st issue bcoz Cullen Bunn and Mutti. Havent read yet and then decided to read the remaining online due to budgetary restriction lol. Might as well read it now

Just finished reading the first volume of Die. Really enjoyed it and will be picking up the next two that are available. I’ve enjoyed all of Gillens writing. It would definitely make a great series.

It’s a great series. I’m sad to see it end. I describe it to people as the 80’s Dungeons and Dragons cartoon superimposed on Stephen King’s IT

I sat through reading all 5 issues of Nottingham last night and really enjoyed it.

I need to do the same. Been holding off until I got all the issues to read.

Is anyone else reading Black’s Myth from Ahoy Comics. I really like this one so far two issues in.

I just finished MODOK Head Games and really enjoyed it.

I’m also enjoying Wonder Woman by Cloonan, which starts at issue 770 or 771, post Death Metal.

MODOK Head Games was great fun.

Anybody read ‘The Lot’? Curious if anyone has read it.

I agree. The main Wonder Woman run has been really good, unlike Sensational Wonder Woman, which I have just dropped.

Shadecraft has paused for an indeterminate time at the end of the first arc. Real shame as I have really enjoyed it. Hope it gets going again sooner than later.
