Tom King continues to make me care about characters that I previously felt nothing for. Mister Miracle. Human Target. Omega Men.

Next up. Black Canary with Ryan Sook on art. I’m in.

I mean they read the solicitation for it and they’re excited.

Posting a comment in the reading section about how I’ve read a lot of Tom King and am looking forward to another story of his has offended you so thoroughly that you took the time to screenshot the definition of reading? Yikes.

I loved the first issue of, “Paranoid Gardens.” Just really weird stuff.

‘Ain’t no grave’ ended up being a good series. I enjoyed the whole series. May go back and read some other Skottie Young/Jorge Corona series because of it. I know of ‘Middlewest’ that I started but never finished- any others?

The first issue of ‘The Missionary’ was well done, looks like it’ll be a good read.

Once Upon a Time at the End of the World (Boom Studios) is a really solid read. I found the entire 15-issue run in dollar bins. It’s a messy love story that gets a little trippy, but overall worth the read.

I really dig this second print #1 cover.

If you’re a fan of Image’s Universal Monsters books, you may be in for a disappointment with The Mummy. While Dracula was fantastic and Frankenstein and Creature from the Black Lagoon were solid, The Mummy feels out of place. The art is a bit cartoony (a massive departure from Simmonds’ art on Dracula), and the story is confusing and a bit pointless.

I love a good Middleton cover, but I think I’m skipping the rest of this one.

Darn… I’m already in for 2 (maybe 3 issues?) on pre-order. Oh well :man_shrugging:

I read the preview and hated the art.

It reminded me of Star Wars Adventures, which I think is geared toward younger kids. Martin Simmonds’ work on Dracula set the bar so damn high, but this just seems so misplaced. Why cartoony for this??!

If they are TFAW, just cancel them!

Really enjoyed Redcoat & the first appearance (well…2nd appearance but it’s splitting hairs) of “The Northerner”. Has me definitely wanting to know more.

I love the world that the Ghost Machine creators are building.

We’re Taking Everyone Down with Us is pretty good. Happy I didn’t skip it.

I liked it.

It was a solid debut issue and piqued my interest about where it is going next.
