all the books were fine, but the mystery box was nothing special.
Drove down to AC last weekend so made a few pit stops
1st stop was a cool shop, humongous back issue stock but mostly picked through. Picked up these. Great Doom cover (newsstand), Jim Lee Thing cover (one of my fav thing covers) and Jon Stewart as the new Green Lantern. Undervalued DC key for those interested.
2nd stop was deceiving at first bec it looked like one of those newer shops with almost all their back issues from the last few years but it turned out to be great!
Got these keys at a great price and the Star Sapphire covers from the dollar bin
3rd stop was an antique mall with extremely slim pickings. Salvaged the stop with these two:
And the final stop was pretty good. Nova #1 undergraded and underpriced. 1st Marvel Boy / Quasar in NM condition for $5! Another Jim Lee Thing and the Dream Girl covers 
And these are from NCBD at my LCS yesterday. I pre-ordered the Wakanda 4 2nd prints. They didn’t have any on the shelf.

Small LCS had a 50% off all lower price back issues. I got these six for roughly $25ish total.
Sale included new books, so I had to grab the B, C, and D covers of Clear. Love this title.

Was lucky enough to snag the 1:25 to Mandalorian 7 (I BELIEVE is first Moff Gideon) for less than half ratio ($11.25).

Away for work and there is a comic store around the corner fromm my hotel which I decided to check out. Then I stumbled upon this hens tooth, never seen one of these before in a shop, only ever seen them online. So glad to have it in my collection now.

Nice find! I found the black background red foil JSC promo version at a shop 4 years ago and grabbed it for cheap. I got it mostly bc i’m a big fan of JSCs old work.
I had a good hunting weekend. Friday I hit a couple shops I rarely visit. And today we had a smaller convention in town. I only had 1 hour to spend there, but I made the most of it. Every book below was either $1 or $2. Oh, except for the two Kanan books. Those were $4 each.
Love that Captain America cover. Got two of those.
Was very surprised to find that Granov 1:25 for Darth volume 2 #1. $2. The Authority book is in great condition and was a buck.
Been looking for that early Harley appearance for a while. Found two. OK.

Grabbed a few books while on vaca in Florida.
Issue 52 is just a nice Quick Kick vs Storm Shadow cover, high grade newsstand.
Issue 9 I picked up because it advertised the Lake Side Tatooz were intact. But only the add was inside. Some books the month of ASM238 only had the adds, but some of those didn’t have the tats inside the add, but I’ve never come across one. So I figured I’d buy it and check it out in case I want to seek out more, and I don’t have this issue. They’re hard to find.
This issue’s tats add was also “Mis-cut.”

I’ve been looking to pick up a Fantasy Masterpieces “reprint”
Of Silver Surfer 3. Finally find a copy in decent shape for less than what I’d pay on eBay.
The Fantastic Four 296 is a very high grade newsstand of the 25th Anniversary cover. Not one of the more scarce covers, but still a tough find on NM for newsstand.
These are some books I found in the dollar bin, which was really the 70 cent bin because they were 30% off!

A couple of finds from my local book shop that sells a few comics in a £1 a comic box. Only the last comic is noteworthy, but that one is probably one of my best book shop finds ever.
Nice HughesCatwoman cover there, an early JG Jones cover and an American Strontium Dog comic.
The JLA is some kind of first, but I always seem to see them about for cheap. The Painkiller Jane had a really nice cover.(Painted by someone called Nelson?)
Then I lucked out and found a book I’d wanted for ages!
Pretty niche, but I love Budd Roots art and this goes for a pretty penny. Part of me wants it for my PC to sit with my Dave Stevens covers and the other part of wants to cash in!
