You found all those at To Be Continued? Man I missed out. I check pretty much all their boxes, was that in their half off recent stuff or upstairs in the dollar room?
@UGADavid rolls into town and asks me for suggestions. I always tell him where I hit up and what is worth going to. He always walks out better than I do, I swear. He found some serious books at Third Eye Finds when we picked together. I do not remember if he scored at Cosmic the one time… But probably. Then absolutely rakes at To Be Continued. Lol.
All of this was in the main shop. I didnt really have time to check out the dollar room for more than a couple minutes. They had boxes of recent releases along the floor and I went through those and kept finding gold. Great shop with friendly employees.
I went through there recently but didn’t see the Assorted Crisis Events books. Did you leave any?
I left a couple 6Bs, a 7A, and 3 7Bs. I didn’t see anything earlier than the one 6A that I picked up. Sadly, no 8A or B. There was a little bit of Abs MM and Superman left but no Bats or WW. If only Abs Flash or GL would heat up.
B covers (aside from 1,2 and 8) don’t seem to be moving
Issue 1 & 8 make sense. Given their prices.
2B I think is moving because there wasn’t a later printing like issue 3 has.
I would think 7B would be sought after…given 7A was $25-$30 like issue 2…but nothing yet.
I sold my 4th copy of Assorted Crisis #2 today. My only copy of #8 sold this weekend. Stay hot baby! Sadly, I’m not seeing an issue 10 on solicits. Just Feb’s #9. I hate to see this take a 6 month hiatus and lose all momentum. But, that’s the Image/Boom way.
Hyde Street was warming up, then vanished for a few months.
Remember how, “Saga,” took like two whole years off? That evaporated any hype.
I’ve been a huge fan of all the Ghost Machine books, but they are absolutely dropping the ball.
None of their books coming out on time anymore.
Heck, Rook took about a whole year off…came back with a single issue & it’s delayed again.
Not sure what is going on. They won’t last if they don’t pull it together quickly.
Made a little trip today to pick up a marketplace buy. Just these two, but eBay inventory is low and prices are up.
On the way back, I stopped at a great shop that always seems to have a few things. Glad I did. Found these. All cover, except for the Nakayama 1:25 Red Hood cover. That was $15.
