I had a few opportunities to buy a newsie 9.6 for $150 over the last year…but couldn’t pull the trigger as I had other books I wanted more…now I see sales near $500.
Similar thing with Star Wars 81…watched many 9.6s pass for under $100…then boba shows up on Mando and we have lift-off…settled for a VF/NM copy raw for $20.
But I want to read these anyway…so it’s all good.
Next comic I will likely miss out on ins Star Wars 50…been eyeing it for a while too…
Star Wars bins had been even more picked over than last week when I nabbed the #60 newsstand, buuuuuut…
In great shape in the $0.50 bin: Naomi #1 variant.
Picked this up today. ASM 136, 1st Appearance of Harry Osborne as the Green Goblin. Fairly clean except for those fold lines on the bottom right front corner.
One of my fav covers from ASM. I picked up a 9.4 CGC w/white pages a year ago.
A few LCS grabs today. SW18 isn’t much of a key book. I just really like that Aphra cover. Worth $3 to me.
SW5 copies aren’t in great shape, but I like the set of the original and Whitman reprint.

I’m begrudgingly grabbing Rorschach. I grabbed the Jock cover.
My LCS owner set a 1:10 Ochi design variant aside for me for Vader #8, then I grabbed 2x regular cover.
Symbiote Spider-Man is decent so far. Solid Blood #17 I’ll probably hold on to until all the hype and possible upside is gone. I tend to do that.
My LCS did not have a single Maskless Wolverine variant cover. Oh well.
Star Wars #60 and 78 arrived from Mycomicshop. I think people will get wise to these not really all too important to Rogue Squadron, but I didn’t have them in my Marvel volume #1 run anyway, so not a total loss.
And Teen Titans Endless Winter Special. I’m enjoying Endless Winter and I want to see if this “Black Ice” character catches any heat.
SW #60 at least has some first appearances, so depending on where they take the show it might still be okay-ish. #78 might be an expensive napkin.
Underrated book. Always liked that cover!
