Eh, we all have opinions on shops. One I love here in Saint Louis my friend hates. He says the owner is standoffish. I think the owner is just chill and doesn’t emote a ton, lol.
To each their own.
I’ll keep it to myself, but under average sale price on eBay and closer to 2nd print prices.

I’ve been to MaximuM a couple times when in LV and always find great deals on older books. Both locations are a must when I’m in town.

Doesn’t the drummer of System of a Down have a shop in Vegas? I’d love to visit it at some point.

It’s called Torpedo Comics, they do alot of online Instagram and whatnot live sales as well.

Apparently all the members of SOAD are comic book fans. Alana ran into the entire band at one of her shops a few years ago, if memory serves me correct. There is also a Rock N Roll Biographies comic that tells the story of the band.

Not exactly a find but more like my guy at my shop hooked me up with these this week all at cover price. It helps that I have a great relationship with him for 15+ years.

A few pick-ups today from two shops. One had a 30% off dealie. Happy to find those Ms Marvels, and the Avengers 65 was just too cool to pass up for $11.

Picked up some books to flip…I hope. Market is a little stingy at the moment.
Spawn #1 NS is mid-grade. Paid $20. After buying realized it didn’t have the poster.
Other spawns (38, 77, 128 & 190) are in VF/NM to Mid-grade. Paid $4-$6 ea.
SiktC 24 paid cover…but has a few dings.
We’ll see. I think these will move given it’s spawn, but may have to be patient.

Hope you move them successfully. My sales have tapered off quite a bit. Fairly common in summer, but I’m not sure how much is due to the economy as well. With any luck, things will pick up in the fall.

Yep zero sales this week 2 sales last week about $600 in sales so far this month last month $5500 in sales average about $2500 a month normally.

Local shop for twice a week till the 9th rented out an empty storefront next to them and filled the place with tons of long boxes of comics all for 50 cents each . Managed to get all this for only $10

Just a few goodies. Always pays to looks through “sets” if shops have them. Seems like folks often ignore them.
Crazy nice buy on the Clandestine set and they are all perfect. Never read them so I can catch up given the Ms. Marvel ties.
I’ll always grab that Weird world book as Mike Ploog is one of my faves.
Cheap Rayshaun Lucas spec books as well.
