I found my LCS restocked it’s 80s Moon Knight collection…all but one book was $6 or less. Just about all in NM or better condition. So I splurged a bit today.

Some of my shops had a bunch of the Detective 27 reprint and others said they sold out quickly. Curious.
May of 1939. However, the most recent facsimile was released on August 23rd, 2022.

I wonder if certain super key books, like hulk 181, Action 1, etc, have more books slabbed now than raw.
Thanks, it’s a really nice copy. I paid 1375. Shop had it at VF+, I think it’s a smidge higher. Couldn’t pass it up, I just knew that it’d sell if I didn’t grab it.
If you check eBay, a show or a shop you’ll find more slabbed of the bigger books, but all of that represents the marketplace so it makes sense. In private collections I’d imagine there are more raw, but on books like Action 1, there’s got to be more slabbed bec of how rare and valuable they are.
… When an opportunity arises, take it.
