Really enjoyed this book, big fan of Takashi Okazaki and this book just oozed style. Felt like I was reading Afro Samurai in a Star Wars universe.

Thats what I said to my wife when we first watched the episode. “It has an Afro Samurai feel to it.”

The Jedi in this book is absolutely Ninja Ninja :stuck_out_tongue:

I know how a lot of us feel about Bad Ideas antics. I paid between $12-27 each and I’ve heard nothing bad about the actual books themselves.

What’s funny is I sold many of the Bad Idea books at a steep markup when they came out. Many of which were higher than what you paid for the slabs.

The work itself has been pretty good. I mean, Matt Kindt I thoroughly enjoy his work. It’s just the publisher I don’t like or the people running it.

Same here. Especially on Eniac #1.

This one looks way prettier than advertised. Might include it in my next economy tier submission.

I’ve been wanting to get into X-Men as the animated series was among my favorite shows as a little kid. When I tried to hop into the comics I felt totally lost, and I missed/skipped the reboot in 2019.

As I was browsing Mercari I found this for $20 and free shipping. I figured I can’t go wrong. My LCS owner can’t recommend it enough so I decided I’d see how I like HOX/POX (I’ve started before but only got an issue or two deep) and if I like it I’ll move in to Hickman’s flagship run and/or Inferno.

$15 including shipping. Books I always pickup if condition and price are right.

I’m not a Dr. Who fan, only seen a few episodes but the weeping angles have always fascinated me.

Taking a childhood favorite game (statues) and transforming it into the stuff of nightmares.

Brilliant.

Saw this was the first appearance in a comic story…had to grab it. And had to have covers A and B! Paid $12 shipped.

That was a good episode.

So I recently snagged Thor 337 for the price of FREE on Mercari. Hear me out: after using the funds I had from recent sales plus a $20 off $50 purchase coupon I ended up paying $0 out of pocket.

Not the World’s Finest condition, but I am glad to have it in my PC. I have been a fan of Beta Ray Bill since I saw the Planet Hulk animated movie years ago, and to be honest I enjoy him a bit more than Thor proper. Not sure why, maybe it is the cool design and more cosmic nature? I’m at home with DC but I’m a sucker for Marvel Cosmic and Cap/Winter Soldier.
