That’s a lot of Star Wars Revelations 1:50. Are you holding long term or flipping quick? I got one at my LCS but that was it.

@monopolyjackson How is MCS shipping, condition of books typically?

Why so many Harley #24?, #25 is 1st full right?
What’s up with the Deathstroke #15 besides last issue of the run?

MCS ships great ! I always choose Economy and the books are packed well and protected. They also bag and board all the books, for FREE.
They tend to under grade books. So a VF book might be a NM book.

Harley 24 is the first appearance of Harley Who Laughs. Have you seen the 2nd Print cover ?

You hit the nail on the head with Deathstroke 15. Last issue +1:25 variant. Did the series even have any interest or readers ???

It didn’t keep me engaged. Also not a massive Deathstroke fan.

I only liked reading about Deathstroke when Christopher Priest wrote him. That was a fantastic run. It is more thanks to Priest being a good writer than Deathstroke a good character, tho.

Good writing by good writers can bring any character to life… if the publishers focused more on the writing and stories, everything else would follow I think instead of them just pumping out new reboot #1 issues with shit tons of variants, etc. They’re doing it all wrong I think… someone needs to get fired at DC and Marvel and tell them to get their shit together and focus on writing instead of trying to just sell multiple copies of books to people in the ratio chase game they’ve created…

Agree, and I think they’re working on that at DC. This Zdarsky run on Batman has been stellar. I don’t think Failsafe is a spec play at all but this story will go down as one of Batman’s best. So much harkening back to Grant Morrison’s R.I.P. and Tower of Babble. All that Zdarsky has done created is a robot that is more of a conecept than a character. Ditto his Daredevil run. I think he created one detective and changed Elektra’s clothes. Everything else has been kick ass writing. Still don’t understand Marvel rebooting DD while Avengers is on issue 65 or something and has has at least 3 spin offs all by the same writer.

Speaking of DC just surpassed my oldest issue of Batman with this one.

That’s a nice one to add to the collection!!

I’ve got a coverless, water damaged, rusted copy of Detective Comics #132 from February of 1948. Cost $15 shipped on eBay a couple of years ago. It’s a rag, but it’s complete and it’s Golden Age Batman, so it’ll stay with me.

Bought this off of Liefelds whatnot show. He was doing remarques live and it was kind of an impulse buy but I’m really happy with it!

If you don’t mind me asking, how much did that cost you? Ive been meaning to tune into a show but am endlessly busy with kids, work, etc. I have weeks worth of comics to read!

His shows are really entertaining! I paid $160  he also has other random stuff that he remarques and signs live like toys, pops, comics, figures, etc. He responds to the chat and asks questions, seems to really enjoy doing the shows. I really recommend catching one of his shows, even if you don’t buy anything he’s just an entertaining character who loves comics.
