I love that cover…wished it was open order…

:frowning:

I’ll be keeping an eye out should the price drop.

Was worried when it was announced as a 1:25 but luckily it went uder the radar and when it came up on pre-order for 7.99 it was a no brainer to grab a copy.

Another Homare book, basically the only comics I’m buying lately is this artists work, nothing else even remotely interesting. Had the 1:25 preordered for 8.99 but then the shop notified me the cover art changed so got a refund and just got the foil.

For about 5 years been collecting high grade 1st appearances of the Disney Motion picture movies & Pixar movies dating back to Bambi (Four Color #12) to recent times (think Toy Story, Lion King, Pocahontas) and everything in-between (such as Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Alice, Song of the South).

I’ve gotten quite far, but this particular item has eluded me. It’s a Digest size, but is the first published appearance of the Aristocats from Gold Key comics.

When it popped up, was happy to pop out $20 for it in this gorgeous grade.
I always say to myself rare is when you want something; will pay dearly for something, but you just can’t find it to even pay dearly for it. So for me personally, this was a great hit. 0 total on CGC census as well.

I picked up a collection of 200 comics for $200 today. Lots of oddball books with value. Lots of Charlton and Gold Key and many Whitman books (plus a huge run of ASM.) main reason I got it was it had a Scooby Doo #1 (Harvey) in NM. Scooby Doo #1 Charlton and a Scooby Doo #2 and #3 Gold Key.

Great purchase.
Cartoons and TV shows have some glimmer of hope

There were also some Gold Key Jetsons and other shows in there.

Any Star Trek? I love the painted and photo covers of the Gold Key run.

No. Sadly no Star Trek

Here is some stuff I got in today. Pretty good day

First up, love old Batman slabs. So cheap.

Have wanted this book forever and got it cheap from Mycomicshop. Next couple are all from there

Cool series have been trying to find them all

Cheap bronze horror to round off the order

These came from my TFAW pre-orders. Loved that I ordered these when the catalog went live

Shouldn’t it be “Robin and Bat-Baby”? I don’t think I want to follow a baby’s lead…

Now I have to look it up to see how Bat-Baby came to be…cover promises it’s the story of the year.

Story of the year, for 1962, was a slow story year. I grabbed it because it was a sub 200 Batman that was fun.

I love how Tony has such a wide range of cool stuff he’s always finding!

I’ll say…

I have 4 copies. I’ll probably have them ‘till I die, as this was not the FOMO I thought it was going to be…

That and Deadpool 6A.
